As President and one of the co-founders
of Retirement Strategies Group, Inc.,
Richard is responsible for leading
the company in its mission to becoming
the leading provider of investment
and retirement planning programs for
members of associations, affinity groups,
and alliance partners. Richard
has over 14 years of experience in
the financial services industry with
an extensive background in sales supervision,
general operations, finance and accounting.
After
graduating from St. Johns University
in 1994 with a degree in Business Administration,
Richard joined Western Capital Financial,
a nationally licensed insurance agency
which delivered retirement programs
on an endorsed basis to members of
professional and trade associations. In
his last role at Western Capital Financial
prior to the company being successfully
sold in July of 2002, Richard was serving
as the Chief Financial Officer. In
addition to his responsibilities for
the financial reporting of the agency,
Richard was also a Co-OSJ Manager and
a Registered Principal with the firm’s
broker dealer – Securities
America.
Richard holds
FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, 63 licenses
and is registered to conduct and supervise
securities and insurance business in
all 50 states. Richard
has an extensive background and knowledge
in serving clients both corporate and
individual with their qualified plans,
annuities, mutual funds and insurance
needs.
On a personal note, Richard has
been married to his wife Amy for over
10 years. Richard
and Amy have three daughters and they
live in San Diego, CA. Richard
serves on the Board of Directors for
Retirement Strategies Group and San
Diego’s
Finest All Stars, an organization dedicated
to teaching teamwork and leadership
to children through sports.
